A Hall of Fame inductee in both Winter Guard International (WGI) and Music for All (BOA), Marlene’s work with the Miller Blackhawks and the WGI Scholastic World Champion program at Miamisburg High School set the standard for excellence in the marching arts. Her visionary designs and mentorship left a profound mark on countless students, performers, and fellow educators.
Beyond her artistic achievements, Marlene was a trusted mentor, advisor, and guiding force within FJM Inc., helping to advance the broader marching arts community. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and unique ability to inspire confidence in everyone she met.
