Waukesha Woman Killed in Rollover Crash in Fond du Lac County
A tragic late-night crash has claimed the life of a 30-year-old woman from Waukesha following a rollover accident in Fond du Lac County.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just before midnight on Thursday near the intersection of County Highway W and County Highway BB in the Town of Ashford. Authorities reported that the woman was driving a pickup truck when she failed to navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway.
The truck reportedly traveled down an embankment before overturning on County Highway W. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead on-site. Officials confirmed that she was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The intersection was temporarily closed for approximately three hours as crews worked to investigate and clear the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, pending notification of family members.
